Embeddfluid-a flexible microfluidic ‘bubble logic’ chip offering a novel platform for haptic and conformable interactions with fluidic computational systems. Developed on flexible PDMS base the chip uses touch sensitive response to manipulate the ‘AND’ and ‘OR’ gates of the fluidic circuit through piezoelectricity. Piezoelectric response alters the width and curvature of the microfluidic valves, thus controlling the logic gates in the circuit. Although, the technology and interaction design are in very primitive stage, they offer immense potential in terms of future work. The development of more and more fluidic computational systems will open up new domains for interaction design.
